Our club

The Sets in Step square dance club was founded in May of 1958, and we have been dancing almost continually since then, with the exception of a brief pandemic-related hiatus we had to take in 2020.  We dance on the first and third Fridays of every month at the Knights of Columbus, in Montrose, California. Our regular club dances alternate Mainstream and Plus levels, so that dancers with different abilities have a chance to dance. We have a singles rotation board, so no partner is necessary! Check our Schedule page for more details.
We host a weekly class for new dancers, and also a class for dancers who have passed the beginners' level and want to move on to the Plus level.  See our Dance Class page for more details.
